Microsoft Dynamics ERP™ Deployment Options
Deployment Options for Your Microsoft Dynamics ERP Solution
We offer three ways for you to deploy your Microsoft Dynamics solution. This flexibility allows you to select a model that best fits your particular needs.
1. ON PREMISE
In this model, all the Microsoft Dynamics software and the hardware needed to run the software is owned by you and located in one of your facilities. You can either pay for this in a lump sum or finance the cost over 3, 4 or 5 years with a lease*.
BENEFITS: This model can be beneficial if your purchase is for the long term as it provides a lower total cost of ownership. There are no ongoing monthly costs for the software itself, and you are more in control of upgrades and modifications. Also, all your data is in-house, providing more control for backups, analysis and integration with other systems.
2. SOFTWARE AS A SERVICE (SAAS)
In this model you do not own any of the software or the infrastructure required to run it. You “rent” the software for a monthly fee based on the number of users; you access the software over the Internet with the hardware being located in our data center.
BENEFITS: The advantages of this model are a lower startup cost and there is no hardware to maintain, eliminating capital expenditures and lowering internal IT costs. The infrastructure is more secure and powerful and the system is accessible anywhere you can access the Internet. You also don’t have to be concerned with upgrades or support for the hardware.
3. HOSTED
In this model you own the software and optionally the hardware. The hardware that runs the software is maintained in our data center and you access it over the Internet. You pay a monthly fee based on the number of users and hardware required to support your environment.
BENEFITS: This model includes having no hardware to maintain, saving you IT costs, the system is accessible anywhere you can access the Internet and there is an easy exit strategy, as you can move hardware to another data center or to your facility. It is also beneficial if you support remote offices and/or users.
