Springfield, IL April 15, 2008: The Certified Public Accountants & Advisors Division of Sikich LLP, Springfield office, announces that Breanne Whaley is the recipient of the 2008 Sikich LLP Accounting Scholarship. Breanne is a senior at Glenwood High School, and plans to study accounting at Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville. Sikich LLP awards an annual scholarship to a high school senior who intends to pursue a degree in accounting.

Breanne is an exemplary student while actively involved in many organizations. She is ranked 17th out of a competitive class of 351 students and scored a 34 on her ACT. In addition to her academic achievements Breanne is captain of the pom pon squad, a member of the Key Club, and a Special Olympics volunteer.
